🇬🇧 JO JO'S VINEYARD

Ian & Tess created JoJo’s Vineyard with a single passion and aim: to make the finest English still and sparkling wines.

JoJo’s is based high in the picturesque Chiltern Hills close to Henley on Thames, and boasts the perfect chalky south/south western facing slopes to grow exceptional grapes for wine. They have planted 9,000 vines in 2019 which will eventually produce up to 12,000 bottles of artisanal fine still and sparkling wines per year. The vineyard's first still wine  JoJo’s Bacchus – Seyval Blanc, was released in September 2022.

They grow 7 varieties of grape, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Bacchus, Seyval Blanc, and Pinot Noir Précoce enabling them to make a range of sparkling and still wines. The wines may differ by year due the different weather and growing conditions, with each wine being created and crafted to best represent the taste and quality of that year’s harvest. This creativity is key to artisanal fine wine.

 

For this year they are showcasing the still Bacchus and in the Autumn the cuvee classic

Our forthcoming sparkling white wine is rich and complex with the focus on it being a fine wine first and foremost, a sparkling wine second to that. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir (including some Pinot Meunier) and Pinot Blanc were fermented separately in both French oak and stainless steel. ARRIVING AUTUMN 2024
