Hailing from the Oxfordshire Hundred Hills winery, ‘Preamble No.2 2018’ is an English Sparkling wine produced from a blend of 72% Pinot Noir (complexity and depth )and 28% Chardonnay (freshness and crispness) that spends 30 months on the lees and sees a dosage of 6g/l. Boasting a harmonious array of fruity and toasted notes, with a backbone of refreshing acidity balanced by the dosage.
PALATE
Its special method of vinification gives this cuvée a light, elegant flavour, followed by a fresh finish with a taste of raspberry.
TASTING
Pairing with pumpkin and squash dishes, due to our wines rich notes of nectarine and yellow plum which hold up perfectly to roasted squash, with the aromas of blood orange cutting through the sweetness. Also roast goats cheese with pumpkin.
