Drappier comprises 55 hectares of land today, the Pinot Noir plantation represents 70-75% of the vineyard. Its label of bright yellow makes it easily recognisable.This Wine shows off Drappier’s character as a Champagne House. IT keeps one foot in the past and one firmly into the future! 8/10 of the blend is Pinot Noir and as such this contributes to its complexity and depth- showing off red fruits, redcurrants, and red cherries - as it should. The wine shows malolactic fermentation- so witness a creaminess to the sparkle. This is not one for clean and crisp experiences.

80% Pinot Noir , 15% Chardonnay, 5% Pinot Meunier
Appearance
Rich copper gold in colour.
Aroma
A bouquet of sweet quince or sweet apple and white peach, with a spicy hint in the mouth, dominated by ripe peach, apricot and red fruits.
Palate
Quince and sweet apple present here also. Peach apricots and red fruits add a touch of elegance.

Aperitif, white meats, fish dishes and mild cheeses – No stinky ones!!!
