Drappier is one of those producers thats sits under the radar of the heavily marketed and more well known houses - such as Veuve, Moet and Laurent Perrier. This is a good thing as less spend on promotion means lower cost!
200 years old it has its traditions, servived 2 world wars and numerous fires.
Consiously involved with sustainability (carbon-neutral champagne )

60% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Meunier -
Grapes only from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards

Pear, hazelnut and delicate toasty spice on the nose
Palate
creamy mousse supported by the usual Champagne acidity. Dried and ripe fruit, a spicy hint with a crisp refreshing finish.
