Gusboune loves its vineyards Their philosophy, values, history and future is to grow the grapes themselves. They use predominantly Burgundian clones to grow Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes = smaller volumes, riper fruit and intensely flavourful.
Nature guides Gusbourne – working with the land and encouraging biodiversity through complementary planting and sustainable practices. Every bottle of wine we make relies on the highest quality fruit from our Kent and West Sussex vineyards.
It takes time. It takes patience. It takes attention to detail. And it’s worth every second to make the perfect expression of our award-winning vintage wines.
Brut Reserve is Gusbournes top selling wine. The 2021 vintage shows touches of orchard fruits, citrus and toasty notes.
The vineyard understands flavour profiles of grapes from every corner of our vineyards.
Using climate variations every year it produces a wine that is both approachable and balanced. Using each vintage with the 3 main champagne grapes they use Chardonnay as the freshness and the crispness, Pinot Noir brings body and depth and finally Pinot Meunier adds floral, fruity notes to the wine or a rustic nature.
