Dark ruby color. Intense black cherry fruit aroma, exotic oak spice, cola, mint, and complex gravel earth. Intense bramble fruit entry, sensuous textural tannins, lively acid, and showing great minerality in a long finish

Geyserville is a single vineyard that is a blend of Zinfandel, Carignane, Petit Sirah and Alicante Bouschet. The vintage is strong structured and fabulously well balanced.

Comprises 14 hectares of land today, 55 years of making Geyserville has turned it into this beautiful well structured blend of grapes grown to their finest. 3 vineyards in a row allow the terriorto harness the characteristics. Although rainfall was lower than perious years the vines coped well during the growing season . 20 % down on yields for the year. It appeared that the crop have performed. Warm spring and late rains were to blame for  lower yields and harvest was picked in August.

Aroma

Dark plum black cherry bakiung spices cola wet gravel violets and lavender Black fruits, Spice and Earth. Touches of Oak and Vanilla from American Barrels.

Palate

Rich and Full bodied Blackberries plum and dark chocolate. Good minerality long finish

Food pairing :

Pair with steaks red meat and even game. This is a big wine !
