The Lytton Springs Zinfandel from Ridge Vineyards is a dark wine, almost squid ink in . Subtle nuances of tobacco box. Multi-layered flavors of mint, coffee, some fennel and toasted oak notes emerge on the complex palate, leading to a long, intense finish.

Production Process Lytton Springs Zinfandel by Ridge Vineyards

The grapes for this Lytton Springs Zinfandel come from Lytton Springs Vineyard and have been in production since 1972. The grapes are carefully destemmed and fermented with the winery's own yeasts. It ages for up to 14 months in American oak barrels. About 35% of these are new barrels.
