Chateau d’Esclans Rock Angel 2021

Rock Angel is a great expression of a Provence rosé.

Produced from a blend of Grenache and Rolle grapes ,

This rose is partly fermented in barrel and partly in stainless-steel.

No one wants a heavily oaked Rosé !!!!

Rock Angel is made from grapes from the vineyards of Chateau d’Esclans, vineyards in the Esclans Valley and nearby in the Cotes de Provence region.

Suited as an elegant aperitif or savouring alongside a long leisurely lunch or dinner.

Rock Angel also makes a great addition to fresh pasta served in a creamy sauce or a light fruit-based dessert

Salmon pink in colour

Notes of apple, grapefruit and rosehip, with a little minerality.

Delicate red berry aromas with mineral notes, along with floral hints and a subtle spice.

Rock Angel is rich and racy on the palate. The use of oak adds a creamy feel and texture to this wine, and the flinty minerality allows the palate to experience elegance and clean freshness.

Powerful and elegant. Firm acidity with a long and silky finish.

The vibrant red fruit and citrus character and light body make this a foodie wine which pairs well with seafood (prawns , lobster , crab ), white fish, chicken, and vegetarian dishes.
